Here is a simple, 4 step breakdown of how a mini portable sewing machine works. You can use this directly on your Shopify product page under a "How to Use" tabs section:
1.Power Up:
Step 1.
Pop in 4 AA batteries or plug in the AC/DC power adapter. Make sure the safety lock is switched on before threading.
2.Thread the Machine:
Step 2.
Pass the thread from the spool through the tension regulator, down through the needle arm loops, and straight into the eye of the needle from front to back.
3.Position the Fabric:
Step 3.
Lift the presser foot, slide your fabric underneath right where you want the seam to start, and lower the presser foot to hold the fabric tight.
4.Press & Guide:
Step 4.
Unlock the power button and press it down (or press the foot pedal). The machine will automatically feed the fabric forward and create a secure stitch. Just gently guide the fabric with your hand to keep the line straight!

It works beautifully on a wide variety of everyday fabrics including cotton, denim, silk, linen, polyester, and light leather. It is perfect for hemming pants, fixing curtains, or mending ripped shirts. (Note: It is not recommended for extremely thick materials like heavy winter coats).
Can it sew backwards or do a reverse stitch?
To keep the machine lightweight and beginner-friendly, it only sews in a forward direction. To secure your thread at the end of a seam, simply tie a quick manual knot with the remaining thread tail, or sew a tiny bit past the edge of the fabric.
Is it loud when it's running?
